We Did It!!

We have finally moved beyond the realm of pull-ups! It was a LONG and DIFFICULT process, but WE DID IT! We are officially POTTY-TRAINED!!

Olivia's 8 1/2 Birthday

 I can't believe my little Munchkin is now 8.5!! For her 1/2 Birthday, Olivia got a gift card to Claire's where she could buy herself some new earrings for her recently pierced ears. She found a great deal and came home with over 50 new pairs of earrings!!

'Since we were in Washington, Grandma helped Olivia bake her 1/2 birthday cake and they even decorated it with HOMEMADE frosting (which I never have the gumption to do). It was fabulous!

Trains...Trains...and yes, more Trains...

Since our daily life involves building huge train tracks throughout the house, I felt it necessary to publish it yet again...apparently one can NEVER get enough trains...

Multiplication Tables

 Olivia's 3rd grad class had a huge pyramid of with levels of multiplication facts that you need to have memorized before you can move up. Olivia LOVES a challenge, and LOVES trying to get to the top first. She practiced every night and morning and tested whenever her teacher would let her. She memorized ALL of her multiplication tables through 12--first in her class! Her teacher rewarded her with a BIG bag of M&Ms and an M&M notepad which she has since filled with all kinds of flashcards to challenge her siblings with.

Bubba's 3 1/2 Birthday!

Who wouldn't fall in love with this face? Quinten turned 3.5 this past month, and is LOVING what the 6 months does for him...

He got a new train: Thomas and the Jam, which has been a BIG HIT!

 We created our traditional 1/2 birthday cake, which he LOVED to load with frosting and sprinkles!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Bubba! We LOVE you!!
