With a mobile baby brother, barriers are a necessity to any train play.

Angry Birds Party
For Quinten's 5th birthday party, he wanted it all Angry Birds! He and I planned for quite a few weeks all the things that he wanted to do.
We decorated Angry Bird Goodie Boxes.
Everyone's favorite, creating structures and BLASTING them down with our angry birds!
I don't know why, but all my kids feel the need to have a pinata at every party.
This is probably why...the mass pile of children in a candy craze!
Daddy got really creative with some of the structures for the kids to break down.
Trying to wait patiently for the go-ahead to destroy.
Usually more than angry birds crashed into the structures!
We also had an angry bird catapult contest. They decorated their own catapults and hurled fruit snacks at each other. Bubba could have done that all. day. long.
Pure Joy
Even after, as we're waiting for parents, the kids couldn't get enough of the real-life angry birds.
Color Run
As a family, we decided to do the 5k run/walk COLOR RUN! The kids were super excited to get doused in color! Averi and Thomas came with us, it was a BLAST!!
The before pics, we all look so nice (the kids got into one of the color packets before we even started running.
The after...VERY COLORFUL!
We did it! Mark that one off of our bucket list!
Train park
Always Bubba's favorite place to visit is the train park! We went with some friends and had a fantastic picnic, rode the carousel, rode the train (a few times!), went through the train museum, gawked at the model trains, and played at every playground there!
He LOVES riding in the cattle car!
Every boy's dream place.
I don't want to grow out of the stage where my kids LOVE train parks!
Children's Museum
This was Collin's first time to one of our favorite haunts...The Children's Museum. He loved being in the mix of everything with tons of kids around and lots to explore!!
How many kids can fit in a cubby?
Every kid's dream, to paint their castle!
True to form at home, we all made forts, and Monster enjoyed destroying them...
Money to spend
We were cleaning out our closets, and I told the kids that if they sold some of their toys, they would get to keep the money...So they started cleaning out their closets REALLY well, and they each ended up with over $30! Since they had money to burn in their pockets, they wanted to head to Toys R Us and the Mall.
They say Disneyland is the Happiest Place On Earth, but Toys R Us would be a close second for this guy.
One of our favorite stops at the mall, Fuzziwigs candy shop. So happy to spend their own money!!
Izzy's haul. She ended up with new shoes, jewelry, sunglasses, candy, and much much more!
Olivia does a bit more saving of her money and she got jewelry, jewelry, jewelry, and candy.
Quinten had lots of cash from his birthday, so he did major shopping,..two train sets and an angry birds game!
Collin...got SQUAT! And he's not very happy about it!
