Huntington Beach Sibling Trip

Shayne got to join in on a fun weekend trip down to Huntington Beach. Three fun-filled days of childhood horsing around!

Around the World Camp Part 2

Day Two was even more fun! We visited England and met the Royal Guard.

We re-created Stonehenge.

And we had an AWESOME English Tea Party!

What an amazing trip around the world!

Around the World Summer Camp

We had a wonderful trip around the world and filled our passports with all sorts of stamps.

We made Pinatas for Mexico.

We created and decorated sugar skulls.

We played a game making and eating Candy Tacos.

We learned some French and put on a puppet show.

We learned to play Chinese Jumprope.

We decorated our names in Japanese with cherry blossoms.

Camp Counselors

These girls are putting on our Summer Camps this year. They work so hard to put them on and have a blast in the process.

Collin's Conversations

Conversation with Collin:

Collin: is black licorice poisonous?

Me: no

Collin: is it poisonous for snakes?

Me: no

Collin: but what about poisonous snakes?

Me: Uhhhh, I don't think black licorice is poisonous for poisonous snakes.

Collin: What if I was eating black licorice and I dropped it and a poisonous snake took a bite and then I picked it up and ate it, would it be poisonous?

Me: If you drop some licorice and a poisonous snakes comes up and takes a bite, don't pick it back up and eat it, RUN AWAY!

Collin: Why?

Me: BECAUSE ITS POISONOUS!

Collin: I KNEW black licorice was poisonous!!

Puppy Sitting

We got to Puppy-sit Meredith's 12 week old puppy for a week while they went to a family reunion. Wicket was in HEAVEN. Another puppy to wrestle and play with ALL DAY LONG. It wore all the rest of us out, but the dogs had a BLAST!

Trek

I need to have Olivia come and sit down and write all about her Trek experience. She had an AMAZING experience. It was a lot harder than she expected, and it made her grow a lot. And she had a ton of fun!

Lost Pueblo-Cub Scout Daycamp

Quinten got to go to Cubscout Daycamp this summer, and LOVED it! It was three afternoons in 100+ degrees and he wished it was LONGER!

He went with a couple good friends of his and they did all sorts of fun stuff: BB guns, Archery, crafts, survival skills, STEM projects and more!

I got to tag along the first day and loved watching him having so much fun.

His favorite part was the Trading Post where they could buy slurpees, toys, candy, soda, etc.
He was in heaven!

This Year's Wrap Up

I love our family's blog books. I love capturing the moments and freezing them in time so we can look back and relive those fun memorie...
