We don't do sleepovers with friends, so my kids are super excited when we get in close proximity with family, and they are all too anxious to ditch me and hang out all night long at their cousins' houses. Away from me is the COOLEST and BEST place to bond with cousins, and they would do it every night of our vacation if they could!!

4th of July
Since it's 200 degrees every Fourth of July in Arizona, we loved heading up North to cooler temps in Northern California to Nana and Papa's. We had a blast celebrating with our cousins. Aunt Aria always loves a holiday, and she came up with some great crafts, games, and treats. But the best part, was just being there with family...lots and lots of family.
Looking at pictures of the kids together, just warms my heart; makes me smile all over on the inside.
Delicious Fourth of July treats!
Fun games for everyone!
Cousins, cousins, and more cousins.
We had a "friendly" kickball game of girls vs. boys. However, as usual, the dads got a LITTLE competitive and started going CRAZY with their outs, slamming their own kids to the ground to get them out, yelling at their own kids to run faster, play harder, jump higher!....OH....DADS!
Aunt LoLo served delicious rootbeer floats before fireworks started (and it totally reminded me of block parties that we had when we were kids).
