My group of preschoolers love to debate the deeper things in life. Oh, sure, they'll fight over whether something is light pink vs. dark pink, but they truly get into the debates about things that really matter, such as the afterlife of zombies and aliens. I don't even think most of these kids have even seen a zombie or alien movie to know what they are debating about, but we had a class-wide debate of what happens to zombies after they die. It went something like this...
You know, when zombies die...their spirits go to heaven.
No they don't! DUH! Zombies don't have spirits!
Sure they do! DUH! Everything has a spirit!
NUH HUH! Zombies eat brains, they can't have a spirit! DUH!
DUH! Heavenly Father made EVERYTHING including zombies, and so they have a spirit! AND they go to heaven when they die!
(One of my preschooler's mom passed away two years ago) My mom is in heaven, so I KNOW about these things, and zombies AND aliens go to heaven when they die!
No one could refute her superiority on the matter...case closed.

Olivia's First Field Trip
Olivia had her first field trip! Now that her elementary school got a new principal, it is a lot of firsts! Her 3rd grade class went to US Airways stadium where they got to see a variety of small, interactive shows about science. I don't think she cared much where the field trip was or what it was about, but she LOVED being there! Riding the bus with her friends, being at school but NOT at school!
3 Months
Squish turned 3 months! He is HUGE and we love it! All the more squishiness to enjoy. Collin LOVES attention, and luckily there's 5 people around to constantly give it to him. He loves flirting with anyone who will look at him, smiles all the time, and will occasionally pass out the treasured giggle.
Never Gets Old
Watching my babies sleep never gets old. Especially when it rarely happens in the middle of the day.
