Top Chef Camp part 3

Enjoying all sorts of food fun!

We created shish-kabobs.

We made an ooey, gooey messy dirt cup, complete with worms.

Played some food bingo.

We customized chef hats for everyone.

What a fun week of food exploration!

Top Chef Camp part 2

We made some chocolate slime! (everyone turned it into a poop emoji...)

One of the crafts was a hidden chef's platter.

They did a blind taste test, trying all sorts of new foods from tofu and seaweed, to pepperoni and sweetish fish.

Photos of our Top Chefs!

We had a soda laboratory where they carbonated a water base, and added all sorts of flavors to create a new, delicious soda. Then they bottled it themselves and created a label.

Top Chef Camp part 1

We've started our Summer Camps! Everyone really looks forward to our summer camps (well everyone but Shayne...). The girls love planning, prepping, and running the camps, and the boys LOVE attending them. It's been a great learning experience for the girls to run a series of daycamps, keeping within a budget, organizing and time scheduling.
We have some fun camps planned for this summer:
Top Chef
Ninjas vs. Princesses
Disney Craze
Lab Rats

Top Chef
Here are our Master Chefs!

We decorated our Pizza Boxes (to hold all of our goodies) with paper pizzas.

Fun cooking should ALWAYS include Green Eggs & Ham.

We played a few food centered games: Pin the Pepperoni on the Pizza, Tossed Salad and restaurant.

We painted aprons.

Made delicious snow cones!

Our chefs also made their own GIANT cookie Pizza! YUMMMM!

Start of Basketball: Navy Seals

Izzy decided to try a new sport this summer too! She's LOVING basketball. Her team has MAYBE 7 players total, and usually only 5 show up per game, which means that there are NO SUBS and they are running the entire time! She's LOVING learning the ins and outs of basketball.

Girls’ Camp

The girls had a GREAT TIME at Girls' Camp this year. Olivia is a 4th year, which meant an overnight hiking/camping expedition. She was nervous to carry ALL her gear/food/water on her back, but she had a BLAST! She always loves trying new things-and mastering them!

It is Izzy's first year at Girls' Camp and she was both excited and nervous. She was lucky enough to get into a cabin with another girl from our ward Mia and they had a lot of fun together. She really enjoyed the entire time, all the activities and crafts, and loved the new friends she made!

Izzy and Mia

Tara, Olivia, Zoe, and Kylie

They had a blow-up obstacle course, and the girls were ALL IN!

What a fun crew!!

Changing the Wheels

Finally traded in the red minivan for a newer white minivan...

Legacy Camp

This was the first year our Stake did Legacy Camp. It is a camp that is spiritually building and physically challenging. Olivia LOVED it! (what activity doesn't she love?...)

This Year's Wrap Up

I love our family's blog books. I love capturing the moments and freezing them in time so we can look back and relive those fun memorie...
