Halloween Festivities
We had a ton of Halloween festivities in the month of October. I don't know why, but it seems like the month is CHUCKED FULL of different Halloweeny activities!
Olivia's Girl Scout Troop put on a Halloween Carnival for the families. Each girl planned, designed and worked their own booth. They had a BLAST!!
Olivia did a "Ghost Pitch" for her booth.
Our ward also had a Halloween festival and Trunk-or-Treat. There was food, games, a bouncy house, and TONS OF CANDY!!
Preschool was not outdone. Quinten loved playing games and making treats with his classmates!
Whew! One Halloween and this is a WORN OUT MOMMA!!

Carrying on Tradition
Last year (3rd grade), Olivia's class won "Kirby" almost every single week. Her 4th grade class is determined to carry on the tradition. for one of their "fun" assemblies, the kids all brought in brown and orange t-shirts and painted them. So far...they have earned Kirby 100% of the time!
Olivia's 1/2 Birthday
Olivia is officially a 9 1/2 year old!
Instead of a 1/2 birthday cake, she wanted treats that were 1/2 covered in chocolate.
A girl after her mom's heart!
Bubba's Best Bud
These two have been buddies from birth. It could be because his mom and I are such good friends too, but they ALWAYS want to be together, doing awesome boy-things (that's how Quinten tells it). We LOVE Adrien!!
Picture Day
The girls picked out their own outfits, and own hairstyles for picture day this year.
My little fashionistas!
Getting too OLD!
I'm not ready for my tiny little munchkin to be a fashion savvy young lady...
NOT READY! NOT READY! NOT READY!!
3rd Grade Spirit Competition
Last year, the girls' school started a spirit competition every Friday. You wear orange and brown, and the class that has the highest percentage wearing that color wins "Kirby" the cub in their classroom for the week. Well, Olivia's class won it almost the ENTIRE YEAR! It was totally the kids, they were bringing extra shirts for friends who forgot, etc, and they had a blast doing it all year. (I'm sure the other 960 kids in the school weren't as excited...including Izzy's class)
Camera Roll
I was going through my camera roll and found a ton of pics the kids had taken. Collin is really learning how to ham it up for the camera!
I'm not a turkey...
Izzy had a project where she had to disguise a turkey to be "not a turkey". She came up with this one all on her own. She wanted hers to be a ROCKSTAR!
Happy Veteran's Day
We are truly grateful for all the veterans who protect our country and freedoms, especially the veterans in our family!
Painting Fire Hydrants
We had a service project where anyone age 8+ got to go and paint fire hydrants in the city of Surprise. Olivia and I got to go do it while Shayne stayed home with the Littles. Olivia had a BLAST!! I think there was just as much gooey paint on Olivia that there was on the hydrants, but she thought it was worth it. Our group painted over 110 fire hydrants!
